Salvation is deliverance from danger or suffering. To save is to deliver or protect. The word carries the idea of victory, health, or preservation. Sometimes, the Bible uses the words saved or salvation to refer to temporal, physical deliverance, such as Paul’s deliverance from prison.

Philippians 1:19 -  For I know that this will turn out for my deliverance through your prayer and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ,

There are two prayers #1 is a basic prayer, #2 is more personal these prayers are a way to express repentance and faith in Jesus Christ for salvation. Please remember that saying this prayer or any other prayer will not save you by itself. Salvation is a gift from God that comes through faith in Jesus Christ. Please note that this is just a template and you can personalize this prayer according to your own words and feelings. The most important part is to mean it sincerely from your heart. God knows your heart and is not so concerned with your words as He is with the attitude of your heart.

Prayer #1:  Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name, Amen.

Prayer #2:  Dear Lord Jesus, I am calling upon your name Lord Jesus. I believe in my heart You are Son of God. I believe You were raised from the dead for my salvation. Come into my heart, Lord Jesus, and save me. Cleanse me from all my sins. I am asking You to fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Give me peace. Make me Your child, and show me Your ways. I choose to walk with You all the days of my life from this moment forward. Thank you for hearing my prayer, Lord Jesus name above all names. Amen.

If you have prayed this prayer in sincere faith, you may want to write down the date as a reminder of the day when you committed your life to Christ. God bless you! according to the Bible you are saved and connected to the Living God! You are a “new creation.”

Talk to Jesus anytime He loves to hear from us. Ask Him to reveal to you what He wants for your life and the answers to whatever you want to know. Always pray in Jesus’ name. Then you will also want to find other believers, (Christians) and spend time with them. Find a good church, find meetings known as (Bible studies) where you can be taught the Word of God, and study it with others. It’s vital to feed on God’s Word (the Bible), to find out who you are in Christ and begin your new life.
