HOW IMPORTANT IS PRAYER?

The bible tells us that we should pray without ceasing and when the disciples asked Jesus how should they pray he answered them by telling them this prayer in Matthew chapter 6 verses 9-13

Our Father, who art in Heaven, Hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, the Power and the Glory, Forever and ever, Amen.

When we take a look at this prayer that was commanded by Jesus Himself it pretty much covers everything for our daily life. I personally say this prayer every morning to start my day, in fact I say it every time I put on a bracelet that I had custom made it has this prayer engraved on it and my wife had it engraved on my wedding ring.

I love praying all day for my wife, family, friends on face book. Prayer is so powerful in the hands and heart of the right person. When I say that I will pray for you, I will pray with all my heart and if it is a specific prayer like a sickness and if the Holy Spirit puts it on my heart to also fast while praying then I will also do that.

Sometimes it can seem that we pray and pray and God is not answering our prayers but believe me when I tell you, He is always listening and He is always answering prayers, sometimes he tells us not now and it could be for a lesson in learning patience or to trust in Him completely, for whatever reason you feel your prayers are not being answered it is always going to be in His timing.
